synopsis

In Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves, the direct-to-video sequel to the popular Disney's childrens film series, Wayne Szalinski's notorious shrink machine is on its way to the archives of the prestigious Smithsonian Institute. But he just can't resist revving it up one last time, and, of course, it misfires. Wayne and his brother and business partner, Gordon, get caught in its powerful shrinking ray, and, soon after, their wives, Patty and Diane, also accidentally join them in the world of the minuscule. Meanwhile, their kids—Adam, Mitch, and Jenny—mistakenly believe their parents have left them alone for the weekend and take full advantage of their newfound, unsupervised freedom. The threesome enjoy eating their fill of junk food, rollerblading in the house, playing loud music, and throwing a wild party for their friends. Meanwhile, the grown-ups' only hope to return to normal size is to grab the attention of their kids—not an easy thing to do when you're only three-quarters of an inch tall. In the midst of all their problems and perils, however, the four parents have a unique opportunity to be "flies on the wall" and learn a few new things about their kids.

Allison Mack

Allison Mack plays Jenny Szalinski, Wayne's niece, and the eldest child. Jenny organizes a sleepover party with her best girlfriends that leads to a surprise visit from some older boys, and proves she's more mature and level-headed than her parents had imagined.
